Prohands Gripmaster and Pro Hand Exercisers

Exercise gadgets are a dime a dozen with new products coming and going regularly.  Most of these products exercise muscle groups that could easily be worked without the product.  The Prohands hand exercisers are unique because they allow your fingers to be exercised, which I've always found difficult to do otherwise.  In the past, I was using the simple grip strengtheners to exercise my fingers, but most of the work not done by my forearm was picked up by my index and middle fingers.  Not only that, but after a few weeks of use the grip strengtheners offered much less resistance than when brand new.  Prohands are a great product for me because they strengthen individual fingers and after constant use have not lost any noticeable amount of tension.

The design of the Gripmaster and Pro are different, but both fit nicely in my palm, far more comfortable than my previous products.  I also found that the Prohands exercisers let me choose to work the forearm or fingers.  Gripping with my fingers further over the springs I could work my forearm and work my fingers by holding closer to my fingertips.  Since I like to keep my exercisers handy when watching TV or surfing the net, I found the compact design took up less space on my desk, so as not to get in the way when not in use.

As a progressing climber, I really noticed how quickly I was strengthening my hands with regular use and as such I'm obviously very happy with the exercisers.  Prohands come in a variety of resistance levels, so you can exercise for both endurance and pure strength.  I use the heavy tension (9 lb/finger) Gripmaster and the extra heavy tension (11 lb/finger) Pro.  Of course these are not just for rock climbers.  I immediately noticed during my first use that they were similar to trumpet keys and could strengthen musicians' hands.  These could even help hardcore gamers strengthen their hands and improve dexterity, and as I mentioned previously, they are very good to use while sitting in front of the TV.  These exercisers offer benefits to athletes in every sport I can think of (and I've played some uncommon sports).

I highly recommend these exercisers for every athlete and musicians who think they could use them.  They are highly portable, easy to use, and very inexpensive in comparison to other exercising gadgets.  Check out details on their website, Prohands.net, but ignore their pricing.  The Pro model is listed at $22, which I've never seen higher than $17 and the other models only go down in price.  These are my personal favorite for grip exercisers and most home exercise equipment.
